Ministry sells KL via buses
LONDON: Tourism Malaysia has launched a three-month bus campaign in Manchester and Birmingham to reach out to more people across Britain.
Its minister, Datuk Seri Dr Ng Yen Yen, said the ministry was changing its strategy and going down to the ground to promote Malaysia in other major British cities.
The campaign would be extended to places like Edinburgh and Dublin if they were proven successful in Manchester and Birmingham.
“We have to go beyond London and sell Malaysia to the rest of the UK,” she told Malaysian journalists after launching the Tourism Ministry-Malaysia Airlines joint bus campaign at the World Travel Market in Excel London yesterday.
